The Black Foot Daisy or Melampodium leucanthum is one of my favorite Native Texas plants for hot, full sun conditions. Growing wild in the Texas Hill Country in Williamson County, Burnet County and others, you will see this plant thriving in Summer conditions. Black foot daisies are low to the ground and take on a lovely mounded shape in the home garden. They look great cascading in a rock garden or a flower bed. Call, text or e-mail Native Texas Realtor Betty Saenz to buy or sell a Central Texas home with native, water conserving plants like the Black Foot Daisy.
